Applicant must live in designated coverage area and meet one of the following requirements: 

  1. Household income is at or below 200% of Federal Poverty Guidelines 
  2. Participation in a federal assistance program:
    • Public Housing Assistance
    • Medicaid
    • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
    • Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
    • Free & Reduced School Lunch and Breakfast Program
    • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
    • Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit
    • Lifeline

The City of Syracuse is committed to providing affordable high-speed internet. In the absence of the Affordable Connectivity Program, eligible households enrolled in Surge LinkTM will receive a discount resulting in a $10 out-of-pocket monthly cost through April 2025.
